Laser Clinics 2020
Niettegenstaande de Covid restricties zijn er toch een aantal Laser Clinics met succes kunnen plaatsvinden. Voor het 3e jaar op rij zet LGB de schouders onder deze gerichte trainingsdagen bij zeilclubs. Daarbij worden op bepaalde data tevens de mogelijkheid aangeboden aan instappers om de Laser uit te proberen tijdens de jaarlijkse Introductiedagen.
Deze trainingsdagen zijn ook bedoeld voor hen die hun niveau verder wensen te verbeteren. De trainingsdagen worden geleid door top nationale en internationale coaches. Dit is ook een opportuniteit voor clubtrainers om deel te nemen.
De clinics staan open voor LGB leden en niet-leden en er is een beperkte deelname (#10pers/clinic).
Snel inschrijven is dus de boodschap.
Wenst u kennis te maken met de Laser, dan bieden wij dit jaar 3 introductie dagen aan waar de basisprincipes zullen worden uiteengezet en waarbij u zal worden begeleid door een ervaren coach. Een boot wordt ter beschikking gesteld indien nodig. U hoeft alleen bij registratie een boot te reserveren.

Malgré les restrictions de Covid, plusieurs entrainements ont pu être déroulés. Pour la troisième année consécutive, le LGB met les épaules à ces journées de formation chez les clubs de voile. À certaines dates, les débutants ont également la possibilité d’essayer le Laser lors des journées annuelles d’introduction.
Ces journées de formation sont également destinées à ceux qui souhaitent améliorer leur niveau. Les journées de formation sont menées par des entraîneurs nationaux et internationaux de haut niveau. C’est aussi l’occasion pour les entraîneurs des clubs de participer.
Les clinics sont ouvertes aux membres du LGB et aux non-membres. Il est cependant recommandé de s’inscrire rapidement parce que la participation est limitée (#10pers/clinic).
Si vous souhaitez vous familiariser avec le Laser, nous vous proposons cette année 3 journées d’initiation. On va vous expliquér les principes de base du Laser, guidé par un coach expérimenté. Un bateau sera mis à disposition si nécessaire. Il suffit de réserver un bateau à l’inscription.
Despite the Covid restrictions, a number of Laser Clinics have taken place successfully. For the 3rd year in a row, LGB puts its shoulders under these targeted training days at sailing clubs. On certain dates there is also the possibility for starters to try out the Laser during the annual Introduction Days.

If you would like to get acquainted with the Laser, this year we offer 3 introduction days where the basics will be explained and where you will be guided by an experienced coach. A boat will be made available if necessary. You only need to book a boat at registration.

Coach Filip Willems
Coach Filip Willems is trainer/coach voor diverse zeilklassen. Zelf was Filip een top Finn zeiler en behaalde een 8ste de plaats op een E.K. en een 10de plaats op een W.K. Met deze plaatsen behaalde coach Willems de limieten voor de selectie van de Olympische Spelen in 1984 in Los Angeles. Na de Spelen was coach Willems trainer en begeleider van een jonge ploeg Laserzeilers waaronder Sebastien Godefroid, Philippe Rogge, Tom Hamers, Bart Bomans en nog vele anderen. Coach Willems was aansluitend trainer / begeleider van Philippe Bergmans die het mooie weer maakte in de Laserklasse, door tot drie keer toe te kunnen deel nemen aan de O.S. (Atlanta, Sidney en Athene). Bovendien werd Philippe onder andere Europees Kampioen in 2004.
Na de spelen van 2004 begeleide coach Willems ook nog de jonge Evi Van Acker naar de wereldkampioenschappen in Brazilië waar zij, bijna als groentje in de Laser Radial, de laatste reeks won en toen al bewees heel wat in haar mars te hebben.
Na 2004, toen Philippe Bergmans stopte met Olympisch zeilen kwam Coach Willems in beeld bij de Optimisten waar hij tal van nieuwe talenten heeft begeleid. Ook heeft coach Willems steeds Laser zeilers verder begeleid. Vorig jaar heeft coach Willems de Clinic LGB 2019 begeleid.
Filip Willems est entraîneur dans diverses classes de voile. Filip lui-même était un des meilleurs barreurs Belges en class Finn et a gagné une 8ème place aux Championnat Européen et une 10ème place aux Championnats du Monde. Avec ces résultats, Filip a atteint la sélection pour les Jeux Olympiques de Los Angeles en 1984.
Après ces Jeux Olympiques, Filip est devenu entraîneur Laser d’une jeune équipe comprenant entre autres Sébastien Godefroid, Philippe Rogge, Tom Hamers, Bart Bomans. Ensuite Filip Willems prit Philippe Bergmans sous sa tutelle pour l’amener à trois reprises à participer aux Jeux Olympiques (Atlanta 1996, Sidney 2000 et Athènes 2004). A ne pas oublier, dans cette même année, juste avant les J.O. de 2004, Philippe Bergmans, coaché par Filip Willems, obtint le titre de champion d’Europe en Laser Standard.
Toujours en 2004, Filip Willems a également accompagné la jeune Evi Van Acker aux championnats du monde au Brésil, où elle a gagné la dernière série et a déjà prouvé qu’elle avait encore beaucoup plus de potentiel.
Après 2004, lorsque Philippe Bergmans a arrêté la voile au niveau olympique, Filip Willems est entré en scène en tant que coach auprès des Optimistes, où il a accompagné de nombreux nouveaux talents, mais en plus il a toujours continué à entrainer plusieurs Laséristes.

Moreover, Philippe became European Champion in 2004.
After the games of 2004 coach Willems also accompanied the young Evi Van Acker to the World Championships in Brazil where she won the last series, almost as a rookie in the Laser Radial. She also became a prime Belgian Laser sailor with many trophees.
After 2004, when Philippe Bergmans quit Olympic sailing, coach Willems joined the Optimists where he coached many new talents. Coach Willems has also continued to guide Laser sailors.
Last year, coach Willems guided the Clinic LGB 2019.
Coach Ronald van Vianen – Prosails.com
Graag stellen we Ronald van Vianen even voor. Coach Ronald van Vianen won meerdere nationale- en wereldkampioenschappen en is onder andere als bondscoach in Spanje werkzaam geweest.
Als directeur van een internationaal Spaans zeilcentrum specialiseerde Ronald zich in het trainen en coachen van internationaal zeil- en surftalent voor de Olympische spelen van LA. Ronald was werkzaam als manager Topzeilen en Talentontwikkeling van het Koninklijk Nederlands Watersport Verbond in Medemblik. Hij was ook bondscoach van Chili tijdens de Olympische spelen van Athene en richtte in 2002 Sailcoach.nl Academy op dat sedert 2004 de naam PROSAILS.COM draagt.
Vorig jaar heeft coach van Vianen de Clinic LGB 2019 begeleid.

En tant que directeur d’un centre de voile Espagnol international, Ronald s’est spécialisé dans la formation et l’encadrement de talents internationaux pour les Jeux olympiques de Los Angeles. Ronald a travaillé en tant que responsable de Topzeilen et Talentontwikkeling à l’Association de Sports Nautique des Pays-Bas à Medemblik. Il a également été entraîneur de l’équipe nationale Chilienne lors des Jeux olympiques d’Athènes et a fondé en 2002 la Sailcoach.nl Academy qui, depuis 2004, s’appelle PROSAILS.COM.

We would like to introduce Ronald van Vianen. Coach Ronald van Vianen has won several national and world championships and has worked as a national coach in Spain.
As director of an international Spanish sailing centre, Ronald specialized in training and coaching of international sailing and surfing talents for the LA Olympics. Ronald worked as manager of Top Sailing and Talent Development of the Royal Dutch Water Sports Association in Medemblik. He was also national coach of Chile during the Olympic Games of Athens and founded Sailcoach.nl Academy in 2002, which has been called PROSAILS.COM since 2004.
Last year coach van Vianen supervised the Clinic LGB 2019.
